Invention of metal movable type printing

Around 1234, Choe Yun-​​ui invented the metal movable type. The Buddhist Treaty (Jikji) or Chiksimgyong, by the monk Kyonghan, published in Korea in 1377, is the world's oldest metal movable type book. It is kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
