The Bank of Spain proposes a very amusing brick-breaking game. The objective is to score points and to discover the definition of an economic notion (in Spanish), hidden behind the bricks (made of coins and banknotes).

Source : Bank of Spain

Objective : Discover economic notions.

Type : Breakout game

Audience : 12+

Language : Spanish

The game (in Spanish) works by controlling a bar, from left to right, which is located on the bottom of the screen, in order to make a ball bounce on the sides of the screen to break the blocs of banknotes and coins. The player looses a ‘life’ when he lets the ball fall to the other side of the screen. The ball is controlled by the navigation keys (arrows) of the keyboard, or by the mouse. If you get to break all the coins and banknotes, you will be able to read the economic notion and reach the next level. At the end of the fifth and last difficulty level, a question appears, linked to the notions which have been revealed. If you answer the question right, you score points and keep playing. You have a total of 5 ‘lives’.
