On 6 June 2015, the Cité de l’économie participated in Science & You, a large science exhibition held in Nancy.
Between the spectacular chemistry experiments and scientific theatre plays, our team presented the Sheep Market Game. Participants played the part of sellers and buyers of sheep to understand how a market works and how prices are set. This market game was designed by the Cité de l’économie and made available to the public, from March to early June 2015, as part of the exhibition “L’économie : krach, boom, mue?” in Marseille. It will soon be available for all on our website, and is particularly intended for use by teachers.
Science & You brought together many initiatives of scientific mediation and shared them in the form of experiments, performances, lectures and roundtables. The Cité de l’économie is part of this scientific mediation movement and extends it to the economy.
