The Economy Days (Journées de l’Économie – JECO) and the Cité de l’Économie et de la Monnaie have forged a partnership based on their shared aims of promoting an educative and awareness-raising approach to economics, to enable everyone to better understand the mechanisms, challenges and issues involved with this discipline.

As early as 2011, a first “teachers’ workshop” was organised at the JECO to present the educational resources available online on the Cité de l’Économie et de la Monnaie website. The partnership has now also given rise to jointly organised annual round table discussions, which in 2012 focused on specific aspects of museography in relation to the economy (“The economy on show”).

The Banque de France, which launched the Cité de l’Économie et de la Monnaie project, has been a major patron of the Economy Days since their inception.
