The 15th edition of the Rencontres economiques d’Aix-en-Provence was held from 3 to 5 July 2015 on the theme ”And if work were the solution?”.

This forum, organised by the Cercle des Économistes, brings together academics, business leaders, political and institutional representatives and students from across the world. Over the course of three days, speakers addressed a range of topics related to work: the labour market, full employment, new technologies, working times, employment during crises, demography, the Labour Code, training, happiness and fulfilment in the workplace, etc.

As in previous years, the Forum gave students the opportunity to present their views. The competition “picture your work tomorrow” enabled students with various academic background to share their views on the theme of the Rencontres. 100 presentations, selected by a jury, chaired by Erik Orsenna, were chosen. Their authors then participated in the 2015 Forum, took part in the debates and led sessions.
