The contest ran from December 2012 to May 2013 and classes taking part were asked to submit work illustrating the role the children expect to play in society when they grow up: careers, citizenship concerns, passions, etc.
Created in 1990, the foundation comprises Lyon’s city council, the French Education Ministry and business representatives, and is aimed at helping school-age children successfully complete their studies. It also tries to give them an insight into the economic, technical and cultural realities of the modern world and promote links between schools and businesses. The foundation works with elementary and primary schools, organising company visits and training courses and providing competitions and learning tools such as games.
