On January 3rd, 2012, Christian Noyer, Banque de France Governor, and Bruno Racine, President of the National Library of France (BnF), signed a scientific partnership agreement, regarding the Banque de France project, Cité de l’économie et de la monnaie.
This agreement makes official an ongoing cooperation since the beginning of the Cité de l’économie et de la monnaie project, more specifically with the Coins, Medals and Antiques Department of the Bnf, relative to the presentation of banknotes and coins collections in the future Cité.
The agreement will reinforce this collaboration, extending it to other departments of the BnF and to the organization of temporary exhibitions or common events, on the future premises of the Cité de l’économie et de la monnaie.
